Fellows McGraw Racing to Compete at 2025 NASCAR Canada Road Courses

Toronto ON, Canada - Fellows McGraw Racing (FMR) announced today their entry in the 2025 NASCAR Canada Series, focusing on road-course events. Sam Fellows, son of Canadian racing legend Ron, is set to pilot the number 87 AER Chevrolet Camaro for the family-run team.

The FMR entry will feature a “throwback” design, paying homage to Ron Fellows’ 1995 AER Camaro in the Trans Am Series. The 2025 season will mark 30 plus years of Fellows racing history with AER and the McGraw family.

“Of all the AER liveries we watched dad drive over the years we always come back to the 1995 car,” said Sam Fellows. “To me it’s iconic and we think it looks amazing on this NASCAR that represents the next generation of our family’s racing story.”

The AER Camaro will feature new and returning partners this season, with Quebec-based mattress company Polysleep returning to support driver Sam Fellows for the fourth year in a row. As well, FMR partnered with Mobil 1 in 2024 and will sport the iconic logo again this season.

New for 2025, Durham-based automotive group Novus Auto will join the FMR squad, along with Oshawa GM dealer Ontario Motor Sales.

Fellows said “it is extremely humbling to be supported by the amazing partners that we have. I want to thank AER, Polysleep, Novus Auto, Ontario Motor Sales, and Mobil 1. We would not be able to do this without your support and we feel very proud to represent your brands on Canada’s biggest racing stage.”

2025 will mark the third season of competition for FMR in NASCAR Canada, with the team achieving their best finish of fourth place at last year’s ASSA ABLOY 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP). The team was also in the hunt for their first podium at the 2024 WeatherTech 200, only to come up short when the number 87’s engine let go while running second place with only a few laps remaining.

“I think we made a big step up as a team last year and we’re really proud of the group that we have with us at the track,” said Fellows. “We’re excited to continue working closely with McColl Racing Enterprises and to have our Crew Chief Mike Knott returning to work with us for the fifth consecutive year.”

The 2025 NASCAR Canada season gets underway at the Fellows’s home track, CTMP, this weekend at the Castrol Victoria Day SpeedFest.
